For those of us who have been developing applications for many years (think COBOL & Assembler from the 70s and 80s), the idea of having a code library (programs and routines) is nothing new. However for the Web Services generation, this concept has taken a while to re-emerge, but has now been packaged in the form of a services registry and/or repository.

Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {629DA12E-9AD5-4FEC-B886-42C5982C5109} failed due to the following error: 80070005

I got the above error when I configured my Biztalk Ports to talk to Sharepoint Service using the SharePoint Adapter.

If you happen to come across this error, do the following, it might resolve the problem, for it did for me.

Error:

"Cannot connect to the configuration database"

If you happen to get the above Error while trying to get to your SharePoint Central Administration from Start --> Programs --> Administrative Tools then try the following option. It might solve the problem.
